Sample-influenced composition
Trying to find a piece of music to sample that was in my head. I realised I was spending so much time looking for the music I wanted to sample, I would be quicker to just record it and then sample it. No copyright to worry about and the music was exactly the way I wanted it. I then have the advantage of having clean multitracks. Load the new music into the MPC then chop it up and away we go.
